ethics Examination

Posted by the Princess~ on
i think most bloggers are anti social.. I mean.. if we really did have a life.. we wouldn't be telling perfect strangers our lives right?

we would actually have an audience of friends that would listen to us rather than some stranger in zimbabwe reading about my Dear darling stressed ethics examination.

I don't know they didn't want to tell me if I have passed or not..

that's just insane..

WHY WANNA STRESS ME MORE?

GrrRrr.

Anyway regarding the CLP students that couldn't make it to the examination hall..

WOW they must have like DIED inteh car..

i know that on the morning of th CLP examination.. I woke up at 5 and got ready to lveave by 6

and waited there for like a good 2-3 hours.

that was until I realised that.. heck.. no need to go so early.. THEN! I forgot to bring my statute book so I had my mum rush all the way down just to pass it to me.

SOO yeah.. EARLY is always MUCH better!

but I can't imagine that you are stuck in the jam and it's like 9 already. and you'er nowhere close I thinkn I would have like DIED in stress.

perhaps I would have jumped on a motorcycle and got to the exam hall?

but since I'm driving on my own.. it would be quite difficult.. I would think so ... but mebbe I would have found some other way to do something about it. I have no clue. Or just cry.

It's terribly upsetting.. especially when you've prepared yourself for a year for it .. sometimes MORE THAN THAT.

Even if you were all prepared.. when you're late.. and bothered.. and stressed... you're likely to lose concentration and focus and that will effect your actual paper.

Of course.. the best of best would say.. you should just learn from it or that the best would not be affected.

I beg to differ. Even the King of all Lions sometimes feel rattled at even the slightest things. so pelase don't expect a student who is putting maybe their livelyhood and aspirations and hopes and desires into the examination hall ... to be taken so lightly.

For some, it might just be an exam. for others, it's a obstacle in thier pathways to their dreams, others is an escape from the lives that they've always knew, and some not for them, but for their families who has struggled together just to see their only child become somebody.

Well i do hope they'll do something about it. That and the new CBE. hopefully they'll give out more clues about what they will be doing about it.

Till then.. ( and after the interview) I will let you know what happened.

GOSh. mebbe they wanna give me a medal of honoour~

ahahahaha

i doubt that

-_-

The Festival

Every one hold hands!

Sushi Conveyer Belt at Bon Odori

Starting the Dance

Lovely weather we got

Did you know... that the Bon Odori actually is a ffestival for the departed souls?

and that the festival that is celebrated on a large scale basis in Malaysia.. is something like a huge cheng beng festival for the hungry ghosts. the appease the ghosts.. and perhaps make them less suffering.

Oaky I may not have all my facts straight here.. it was contributed mainly by PEegee.. and a little reading by Wikipedia.

BUt the event that is held in the Panasonic Sports Stadium here is mainly for people to gather, and eat japanese food, and buy balloons to release them into the air and watch them float higher and higher and higher.

It's kinda like a huge picnic. Not really anything special. There is an elevated stage where there are boys playing the drums and the girls dancing quite solemnly. I was wondering why they didn't show any enthusiasm in thier dancing but I was told by PG that it's not something you're supposed to be enthusiatic about. So the more solemn you face is the better it is.

Clearly this is my first time to Bon Odori.

But it was very well managed ( the Formula One and other events should take note of how a free public event can be managed so well) and that everyone had places to park.. and that the traffic.. kinda flowed.. as much as it could lah.. y ou still can't deny the fact that you are in Malaysia and that the drivers are VERY MALAYSIAN and they will do anything they can to be 5 inches ahead of you. Just to prove that they can do it.

I know this cause I'm guilty of beingone of them.
SAd.. I know but at least I ask my passengers to buckle up!

All in all it wasn't so great. thank goodness the weather was fair..no rain.. not too much sweat. and although I really want to wear a yukata... i think it would have been too stifling! but they looked really cute in one. Prob i'll get one before Comic Fiesta December.

Before that I went for a manicure and Pedicure at NXZ. HORRIBLE
SO HORRIBLE. I will NEVER go there again!
please don't go there either!!!
Just say no. Expensive and lousy.

Oaky I 'm done with my Rant.
^_^

Happy hungry Ghost festival!

Sorry for the absence!

oh dear, I know I've been away for very long.. and I know that I've always wanted to blog.. I've taken soo many pictures just for blogging!

but let me just tell you in short.. what has happened. well keep you up to date about the things that has happened to me in the past few weeks.

Firstly since the whole Hanfook drama thing.. I actually won the tickets to go. Yeap! i'm watching them tonight!

Alright and as for the Ethics Examination.. there was a HUGE DRAMA about it! wanna know more? Sure!!

The Ethics Exams.. are open book, as you should know.. it is supposed to be easy and not for us to memorise the answers. The questions are tricky.. and if you ask your seniors.. they won't tellyou the questions.. cause they either forgot about it.. or because it's ALWAYS THE SAME!

okay.. they may have a few variations.. but the essence is still the same.. afterall the do state that all the answers can be found in the manuals that they provide to us.

Anyway.. being CLP brats.. we JUST HAVE to bring out notes from CLP in. Thisis a bad habit of ours.. cause we always need to have more than we actually read and perhaps during the examination we have that extra time to read it.

So there we were with our CLP notes in hand.. when suddenly out of the blue, The invigilator told us all that we are only allowed to use our notes and all other OUTSIDE notes are forbidden.

OK fine.. *grumble grumble* They said it was an open book test was it not? so we diligently put it away. But some people didn't listen..

So the invigilator was TERRIBLY upset.

so she said... that we are a BuNCH OF CHEATS .. alright.. fine.. she has her right to say that..

and that she wanted to make us retake it.

Only after that.. we found out that... there were answers being cirulated on the WEB for the Ethics course. and I was like..

HOW COULD I HAVE NOT THOUGHT ABOUT IT???

when Googling is my life??

i didn't even have the slightest thought about googling the ethics examination. But lucky thing I didn't as well!

they said that the y have identified the parties that were caught 'with the asnwers obtained from these 'sources'' and therefore they will take discipinary action against them and report them to their Masters.

GOSH.. so DRAMA hor!

Well the results are supposed to be out today.. and this week.. so let's keep our fingers crossed that I'll make it though and have no problems arising afterwards!

So that ends the Ethics Drama

And then after that I went down to Singapore.

GOSH... I thought that Singaporean Transport system is efficient and easy.

BOY WAS I WRONG! Maybe cause i don't know how to read it.. but it seems that neither does the Singaporeans. I was in REdHill looking for REDhill Center. and what the heck.. they gave me all sorts of directions and places to go and I was... OMG ... in Chinatown..

and then in industrial AREA.. and then in REDHILL Square.. but no Center.

Only finally after 5.30 when the office is closed.. did I manage to figure it out.

CRAP. LATE

TERRIBLE.. wasted one day.

but it's oaky otherwise I had a wonderfully fantastic time in Singapore with Suen and Tabs . Suen was soo nice to bringme all over the palce to eat satay sushi.. (asparagus wrapped in Bacon) and the nicest desserts! it was soo delicious!

and then I came back and got back to the humdrum of working life.

Then we eat Charcoal Steamboat in Tmn Berkeley. the Portions are HUGE and for only 13 bucks a head and the yummiest soup. *salty!*

then for Our Monthly Dinner we had a go at SS2 Korean Restaruant. Not as great as dorea.. My first LOVE ~~ *heart*

I wouldn't recommend going there.. I'll prefer Dorea in Taipan anytime!

Then! i entered this contest on vkeong.com about the Malaysian Food Blog and I WON!!!

I won two buffet STeamboat at Coca REstaurant and OMG the food there look absolutely mouth watering.

liek honestly.. It looks so good I check my email every other hour to see if the lady has emailed me about my voucher that I'm supposed to get!

Well anyway, ^_^

update soon..

toodles!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LICHOONG!
