Red Palms are considered VERY good Fengshui plants. And since San was moving out of her current house which have a whole ton of red palms, and we're moving to a new house, we naturally thought of getting some red palms from her.
NOTE however... RED PALMS are very difficult to 'cut/chop/hack/sever/saw/cangkul' out.
see we had PROJECT 1.
we decided to dig project 1, from the ground. it was tiring...... dag did it the whole 30 minutes.. we used all sorts of tools, including a big chopper, cangkul, saw, hack, hammer, hunting knife..... hehe it was terribly tiring!
Then I started my own little project side. (San's mum said that this one was easier to sever so we did that instead). That came out pretty suceessfully but JE'fs "no roots" palm was declared a "sure die palm"
then Dag abandoned Project 1 and went for Project 2, after San's DAD came out and declared all our small palms, all "sure die palm" and in addition to that, San's aunt added that "so small take forever also won't be big!"
hehehe.
Project 2 was a MUCH bigger PLant. as you can see above. they sawed, chopped, chiseled away at the connecting roots. Dag tried to see if the plant would come off if he pushed it enough, and the plant slit itself. (we then declared the 100% survive to 50% survive) to finally Jef running around to break off the root... which it happened!
then we transported it in the car.... brought it home... and planted it...
and one week later it DIED!
so sad!
but Project one is still alive and well. (will take pictures when it's more alive. ;) )
Great Job from the boys.. we were lucky we didn't do it in the night as we initially planned as it was a REALLY REALLY difficult job. they might think we were chopping a person up and planting him in the ground by the sounds of it!! San and I laughed a great deal. IT was hilarious! hehe
too bad we didn't get videos.. ;)
no video! it absolutely makes a complete fool of us o.O
