*Cough* *cough* x 1 million

i've been having this terribly annoying cough that has been plaguing my existence for the past 1 and a half weeks.

AT first it was just a dry cough, followed by some green horrid phelgm. It was terrible. I was coughing the whole day and night. amazingly I didn't have a sore troath. However I did get bouts of fever. It wasn't very horrible for the first week as i managed to control it with some lingzhi.

However, when I came back to work on the second week. My colleague was down with a bad case of FEVER, COUGH and SORE THROAT. Sucks. so I took in an extra dose of EVILNESS when I'm already on the border of good vs. evil.

I was hit like a ton of bricks. Wham bam. I was knocked out and confirmed I had a fever looming over my head. But my mum said "No fever"

This is ALWAYS the case. I always think I have a fever, but someone always tells me i don't.
Mebbe it's my layers of impenetrable fats that make the heat not noticable from the outside epidermis. But it's Hot insideeee... i'm burning...


Anyway, I refused to see a doctor and didn't go.

Then yesterday, I couldn't sleep. my cough kept me (and my family) up all night. so I finally went to the doctors. Since i already had a record at sunway medical, i thought I might as well go back there. And it's on the frist floor of specialists. I dunno where is the general practicioners. and they said why don't you see a ENT instead?

so I said. if you don't have a gp, then erm. okay.

So there I was coughing my lungs out, while I waited in the nice hotel like hospital.

After waiting, (there seems to be a lot of people coughing) Mr. Koay, the ENT that attended to me asked me what was wrong. I told him all of the above, but less detail and drama (sore throat ok.... painful to talk) then he said.. okay i'm gonna spray some stuff in your nose. and amazingly my nose cleared up!! i dunno what it was!

THen he took a camera scope thingie and shoved it down my nose.

IT WAS really really strange and uncomfortable.....

ergh. I can't imagine if it was my the butt. O_O

I bet that would be unimaginably uncomfortable.

But anyway, he took pictures of my insides to show me how my insides look like (cause my eyes were closed from the weird strange feeling). I had some swelling on the back of my nose which explained soreness. he also heard my lungs and said I'm good to go. He also added that Aircond - not below 26 as the cold air will aggravate my cough. Further not to lie down as that will make me cough more. No WONDER when I sleep i coughed so much!

SUcks.

and the whole procedure? plus parking is RM229!

and he din even give me a discount! Where is this medical officers renumeration order eh... is there a no discount rule ah. are they free to charge whatever they like?

MY goodness. I see everyone there paying easily and i'm like.. WTH A doctor issue you a bill and you pay, a lawyer issue you a bill and you want discount. UNFAIR!!!!

i think I'll down a bottle of lingzhi this week to cross out the bad effects of the meds. I have no idea what is in them. O_o

and he din even give me cough syrup or lozenges...

WTH!
