Engaged!

Dear all,

finally I have some time to post!

right after my last post, I was jetsetted off to Bangkok, the land of shopping!

All my baht i brought I spent! that was insane... cuase I know if I brought anymore.. I would have spent that too!

First of all, we ate Lunch at Thai MCdonalds where everyone except me had a pork burger... Poor deprived malaysians who don't have pork burgers....

Then we went shopping! Our initial day didn't have much result as we only walked int he fancy smancy places.. We just made our customary visits to Siam Paragon.. and other places on the BTW (we had a nice tour of the BTS).

We then had dinner at Cabages and Condoms.. This is a restaurant that is pretty different, seeing that they promote the use of condoms for safe sex here. It's interesting to note that they are not a sleazy place but very community consciouos, focusing on charitable deeds instead.

The next day, because I was obsessed with getting my suit, i spent the whole early morning looking for one that is cheap (they were all so expensive so I didn't get any!)

Then San, Jef, Ann and FJ went shopping on their own (only later to find out that they actually went to source the flowers for my proposal!)

after that we met up, went to chaktuchak for a momment, (a very brief momment) and then went to have lunch at mos cafe. WHich i didn't quite like their food..

We then headed off to platunam market. (OMG i love this!) and bought all sorts of things here.

So i was very very busy shopping.. and forgot that it was my Birthday! Then we booked a dinner place for us. We decided on the old german beerhouse. The ambience was nice and after we ordered, they took our the birthday cake!

After we all Sang the birthday song (oh! ihave to mention that all my friends sang Happy Birthday to me on the BTS too.. it was sooo embarassing!) then Dag had a birthday present for me... and he gave me 3 stalks of flowers. I was qutie surprised! why he give me some flowers?
Then suddenly I hear jef say Back up plan.. then I was like what back up plan??
Then out came a banner (i have to say I didn't really read the banner then) and then Chun Chieh went on one knee and asked me to marry him. (he also said thank you to ann and jef who helped get the 3 stalks for him)

I WAS SO SHOCKED!!!

then I said yes.. of course~
Then came the second proposal, with the BIG bouquet of flowers (the flowers were beautiful!)
and I said yes again.. (so many times I have to say yes!)

Then we had dinner.

i was really really really really shocked!!

So now I'm engaged. I don't know when we'll get registered, or i don't know when we'll get married.. but i'll update you as soon as i know~


Oh and the reason why I only posted this up till now .. i've been so busy at work.. i really havne't had the time to blog. P.s. all the pictures are up on facebook anad the videos will be coming soon? (It wasn't me who took the video so I cant' share it with you)


Phew.. such a whirl wind. i'm so tired!

But i'll be in Bangkok.. not sure if I'll have a connection.. so to everyone out there...

Aren't you lucky today... that I was born??? so that you have the chance to know me?

Thank you all for the wishes that I've received so far (that's one) and the future wishes that I'll receive (prob another one) hahaha... at LEAST I'm realistic right?? :D

I seem to have fallen into the TRAP.

THE TRAP OF REALLY NICE SHOES!!!

I can't help myself. I think these redsoleshoes.. of Christian Louboutin are absoloutely fabulous!!!

I mean. look at them. Aren't they just so sexy?

I really need at least a pair.

then I'll need really nice bag to go with it... i Don't really like the hermes and I think LV monogram print are a bit last season.... ah suckssssss ...

the shopping bug has bitten me.

and it's bitten me BAD! I so badly want to go shopping!!

I want to do good to the economy. I want to change my BORING CLOTHESSS

I can't bother looking at myself anymore.. sucks!!

anyway... Happy NEW YEAR!

and erm... guess what? for my birthday this year i'm going to Bangkok! and SHop to my heart's desire. I highly doubt I can afford a louboutain... hahaha. mebbe I'll get a cheap knock off that will bite my toes off.

mebbe I'll get 5.

let me tell you about my kitchen in my new house.

First of all.. I need to tell you this. Right after I bought the house.. I bought this fantastic set of knives.

I know some of you may think that knives?? why do you need knives for?

EVERY good chef or cook knows that knives are essential to cutting and slicing properly and preparing food.

OMG my knives are Zwilling. they are fabulous. they cut slice and dice like heaven sent. it's as if angels are singing when you are using them! (they make the most wonderful sounds against the chopping board)

enough with my amazing knives,...

so my kitchen was supposed to change it's floor tiles. .. It took me forever.. and a day
to figure out my floor tiles.. I finally decided on a light beigey brown that matched my cupboards.

Then I also changed my countertops. I choose a nice white marble look tile. it looks quite grand! (mind you I couldn't afford the per sq ft run of the solid countertop or Marble!) so the closest I could get was tiling it 2x2.

Anyway after choosing the countertop.. we realised that we had to change the position of the stove. Okay.. so hacked the wall tiles to change the position of the stove. ... ..

THEN!!

cause the wall was hacked.. and they contractor couldn't find the replacement (read really ugly) tiles.. we had to choose wall tiles.. and since we had to choose wall tiles for one wall.. and look starkingly hideous if only one wall was different, we had to do the WHOLE KITCHEN!

So now my kitchen has new floors, new counters, and new walls.... but old cabinet doors... which I used for matching my floor.

Well that ain't gonna be the case!!

I totally need a new set of kitchen cabinets!... and all the bells and whistles that comes with it.


Btw. my toilet looks fab too. :D I'm so fabulously talented at choosing tiles now. ^_^
